The “Colors of Gond” initiative is a collaboration with the distinguished artist, Mr. Sunil Shyam, hailing from the tribal heartlands of Madhya Pradesh, India. This entrepreneurial venture emerged from a vision to introduce the captivating Gond art form to a wider market while upholding its cultural significance. Enclosed within the pages of this coloring book, showcasing commissioned works by Mr. Shyam, one can engage in the enchanting narratives of Gond art. Each illustration serves as a testament to the profound connection between humanity and nature, fostering a unique artistic brand.
To heighten awareness of this endangered art form and promote our mission, I distributed these coloring books to children through select NGOs. The sale of each coloring book directly fuels the livelihood of artists, acting as a sustainable avenue of support and guardian for this culturally rich heritage.
