Langar Seva
I grew up with the value system that service to society is one’s duty. Therefore, I have been contributing in my own way by helping feed underprivileged people with the Delhi Langar Seva Society since I was 12 years old. I devote 2 weekends a month to this activity, which helps me feel grateful for all the privileges I have, while also having a positive impact on others.
Tree Plantation Drives
On the 20th of August 2022, my classmates and I visited Kamala Nehru Ridge for a tree plantation drive. Walking through nature in the heart of the city made me appreciate it more, as it is not every day that I am surrounded by that extent of flora and fauna. I collaborated with my peers to dig up the ground and plant the seeds. Overall, this experience taught me a lot about different species of butterflies, different types of trees, and British monuments built in the 1800s.
